Don't Ever Let Go by Rather Dashing, Crazy Child

Rather Dashing: Here we are, starting our 9th hour of unending contact. It has been quite the adventure so far, and it definitely takes some getting used to! We've come close to separating several times now, and one of us always catches the other at the last minute. I think we're used to it at this point though. But I digress! Here comes a play-by-play of the events thus far, Catching you interwebbers up to speed:
CrazyChild:ok, so...we started at exactly 4:30pm (according to the time on my computer). Our first big challenge came only a few minutes after we linked, as Dashing still needed to cut his toenails and fingernails in order to avoid maiming me during this task. Therefore, this took quite a bit of maneovering off the bat. Then, we walked to the gas station to get slushies. The slushies were the second big challenge, as my hands get cold really easily and I have to switch sometimes. As I discovered, napkins don't stop the cold. So we developed an intricate manoever in order to solve this problem, which we employed for the rest of theday. With our slushies, we walked around campus to check on the Cds we made for the Audio Scattering task. Then, we headed back to Dashing's apartment, where we settled in and watched Spongebob Squarepants for a while.
Rather Dashing: Lounging about wasn't so tough. After almost losing CC after a coccooning caterpillar worked its way onto my fedora in the gardens, we were more careful and mindful of being an entity as we wandered about. After the spongebobathon, our ride called to be let in to the building so we could head over to the potlatch we had planned! Then came our next challenge: entering and exiting a vehicle, while carrying a food processor, bathing suits, and food! We made a manouever video for the entrance and exit, though they're not terribly exciting or.. well.. planned. Also, too big for upload. =[ At the potlatch, we faced many challenges, including:
~ food preparation. It's remarkably inefficient to both have to move around the kitchen to grab a can opener or this or that while tethered - though once we got things going, it was handy at points to have 4 arms in one place than two.
~ Bathing suit changing. As a matter of course, you can imagine some of the difficulties associated here. Including sneaking in and out of the bathroom together to avoid socially awkward situations (although almost everyone in the house knew about the task we were undertaking anyway.)
~ Gathering chairs. To grab two, heavy metal-type chairs for us on the patio, we had to make two trips up and down stairs to get them and bring them to the table.
~ The hot tub itself. With the jets turned up, it was difficult at points not to float away, and at times when we were just connected by feet or otherwise for maximum jet enjoyment, this became dangerous.
~ Returning. carrying even more on the way back, and attempting to stay connected with a wet paper bag of bathing suits and a food processor and a bowl of hummus, a posterboard, and leftover tapioca pearls (mmmm, homemade bubble tea!) was quite the trek up the stairs to my apartment. No lies. We managed to get a picture off when we reached the door.
~Using the Bathroom. One of us would jump in the tub and sit while the other would use the toilet behind the curtain. It was slighty strange, but not terribly so. =p
After getting in, we sorted everything and got re-organized (all sorts of supplies to go away, with room for maneuvering needed.) We were so full from the potlatch that we weren't feeling terribly active, so we just watched random shows for a bit. As it got later, we stayed connected at the foot while I worked on writing out my psych notes (Final test on monday!) While CC watched a "The X Effect" marathon on mtv. Guilty pleasure. =D
As we got ready for bed, we were wary of the potential for disconnecting in our sleep. As a result, we tied our wrists together with a scarf. Halfway through the night, however, CC was losing feeling in her hand, and after loosening it we found it was a bit too easy to slip out of anyway. So, we ditched the scarf: Seeing as we share a single futon down here anyway, we stayed in contact the whole night regardless.
CrazyChild: We woke up today around 11:30 and hung out for a while. Then, Killah Diamonds called us up and told us she was picking us and Shazam up to get bubble tea. We got dressed quite quickly (well, quickly for two people tied together, anyways) and again used our semi-famous car manoever to get in and out. Bubble tea was had at a lovely Vietnamese restaurant, and we all agreed that Dashing had made the best choice with mango. Mmmmmm bubble tea...
After that, we headed back home and chilled out until it was time to disconnect. We sat around while Dashing took more psych notes and I watched "Groundhog Day". Then, at precisely 4:30pm, we finally disconnected.
Rather: I must say, it's strange to be apart now. I was beginning to get used to it. =[ It is quite handy to be able to do two things at once - as two people - now, though. You find yourself considering whether you need to care about the little things, such as running back to grab a hat or getting up to find your chapstick. Lots of compromise, indeed!

I can't believe I hadn't seen this! This is awesome!
I so wonder what this would be like with a relative stranger and if that kind of closeness would automatically instill romantic feelings if one weren't already romantically attached.

hahaha, i think the pooping might be a minor obstacle.
and also the unattractive hair loss showing up in the shower drain =[
Apologies, that podcast vote was from me, and I didn't realise 'til I'd left the page.
Great Tasking, it's interesting to hear that you got used to it, and the effects of stopping.
