Object Annotation by Sam I Are

INSTRUCTIONS: Pick a local public object that you enjoy and leave a note on it describing your feelings in great detail.

It's easy to be thankful for things that happen to you. Nice, good things. What people need to realize is that the things that don't happen to them are what they should be most thankful for.

Be thankful when you don't get mugged.

Be thankful every day you don't get sick.

Me? I'm always thankful when the elevator doesn't trap me inside itself, like it has to so many others.

Dear Elevator,

Thank you. You take me to whichever floor I need to be on. Whether I'm going from Floor 1 to Floor 5 or from floor 8 to Floor 3, I can count on you to get the job done. This is good, however this should be expected from any good elevator. The real Reason for me writing this is to thank you for sparing me.

While everyone else has been trapped within your body—doors locked tightly shut, temperature rising, odd odors slowly presenting themselves—you have seen fit to spare me. I don't know what to say. You obviously see something special in me, and I thank you. You've been a good, reliable friend to me. What more could a man desire from an elevator?

Yours truly,
Sam I Are

I agree with Loki, the putting it on the door in two pieces makes this.

Welcome to the game! I look forward to more praxis.

Yeah, the two piece letter is so much cooler than it would have been just attached to any other wall.

Welcome to the Game!

Love the cut-in-half thing. Shows you're really listening to your object.
