Food fight? by Lauren-Marie Sliter, Alden

My family has always enjoyed playing games, and gaming with food is no stranger to us. We have on several occasions partaken in Potato Bowling, where we chuck turnips at large potatoes for points.
So it wasn't a far stretch to encourage them to help me with this task, which I've subtitled Cookie Checkers (Draughts)... My mother helped set up the board and my brother was the photographer.
I was again joined by my awesome sister as we went head to head in the Xmas cookie death match of the millennium. Click on the pictures to read the story.

Food and games are, like, my two favourite things.

Very nice. I've played Go with M&Ms, which has a very similar feel. If you use Chinese counting, you can eat the captures...
Sister Lauren-Marie: awesome hands.
