War Of Escalating Dares by Insomniac Walking, Sarah
December 30th, 2007 10:04 PM
December 23rd 2007. A day that shall forever live in infamy. This day war was joined the challenge was thrown down in front of the contenders. A war of escalating dares, they knew not what lay in store for them, the grime that would be seen, the freezing cold that would be endured.
The initial dare was thrown out by me, sojourner to a non-SF0 player. We will call him Kniffy for our purposes since we can't release the names of some of the combatants due to the atrocities that may have occurred during their dares.
sojourner:
The initial dare was actually quite a dare, I was dared to jump into a pool only in my skivvies, this may sound very tame to some, but when you consider that if I caught I would face disciplinary action from the RD's (Resident Director, this is actually a code for evil incarnate)
My second dare was a bit more painful, I was dared by Sarah to hump the christmas tree in front of a large group of people, which although I think the tree found more humiliating than I did, the tree got its revenge, the amount of needles that stuck with me were a constant reminder.
For my third dare was a to paint myself as an SF0 warrior, as you can see I enjoyed myself, and the "paint" or the mud was very very cold. But as you can see, my body art was quite good.
Sarah:
I started the War of Escalating Dares as a mediator, making sure that the dares being played were the appropriate level of intensification. Little did I know I was about to be thrown into the chaos. I had to admit that Sojourner's dare frightened me a little. I was afraid of the dares that would be thrown my way.
In light of Sojourner's dare we began a new axis of dares. Sojourner dared me to join the war as well. After accepting the dare I then turned my attention to Kniffy, the next victim to suffer from the dares. Since this was a war of escalating dares I started small, with a dare that would bring great joy to me. I dared him to wash the dishes that had accumulated from the cookie batter mess. I hate dishes so this was a treat as well as a dare. Included in the mess was the remains of a cookie brownie frosting concoction that had been sitting out for a couple of days, gross!
My first dare was to go and turn off the TV where several guys were playing/watching Super Smash Brothers. After the TV was turned off I was to act like a gorilla and pick bugs off the closest onlooker.
Next, I targeted my dare at sojourner as he mentioned above. The poor tree...
Sojourner then dared Kniffy to Eskimo kiss an unsuspecting male who was watching the video games. His distraction, a welcoming cookie. The camera didn't quite capture the moment fully because of the fastest I ever seen Worth move.
Kniffy had to leave after his dare but the War continued between sojourner and I. The next dare, to paint with my foot using the mud as my paint and the cement as my easel. The mud was so cold!!! I had to get sojourner back for that. In response, "war paint" on the entire body. A dare proper for the previous one.
As the night wore on it was time to go to bed, but not before one last dare, a love note to a certain someone, the picture tells the story of the fantasies running through my head, hope you enjoy!

Even looking at those photos makes me feel cold.
