Many a night after a decent pub crawl (Most days of the week), we find ourselves sitting under the woeful face of Aylesbury's market square clock tower. Its always been there and no one really pays it any heed.
But i decided it would be nice to write something about it for this task.

"Ode to Clock Tower

Stricken by your mourning chimes
Distressed by your lack of time
Relentless pace surrounds your base
Drunken hordes leaving pubs to the second chimes of a new day

This simple poem is in honor of Aylesbury's finest clock tower,
From its guarding stance that watches all.
