My name is The Artful Dodger, so for this picture of myself, I decided to put on my hat and the artiest outfit I could come up with; striped shirt, plaid skirt, you get the picture. I had another picture in color where you could see the whole outfit and my room, including my bookshelf, the junkyard that is my desk, and what my mom insists on calling "other random crap". However, in the end I had to go with this one. It's just blurry enough to look like a painting in black and white (taking pictures of yourself in the mirror is hard), the hat doesn't look like part of my hair, and you can clearly see my camera and my pencil. I love pencils. In my opinion, if creativity is the food of an artist, the pencil is their fork. They are also superior to pens, because you can change so much with them, and because you don't smear your work when you write with them. Then again, I'm left-handed, so I guess I'm biased.

I almost missed the pencil. I love pencils. A fantastic tool.
