There's road work on Lake and Lyndale, there's a huge apartment complex going up at Lake and Aldrich, another huge complex going up on Lyndale and 29th, and construction vehicles all over the place. If I had to assign a color to my neighborhood, I would have to go with ORANGE because of all the cones, blinking lighted barriers, tape, and signs that crowd the cityscape. During weekdays, the noise can reach a decibel level of "jesus christ shut up" with the occasional jump to "where's my gun" loud.
It's a great place to live when there's not constant construction.
Enjoy the pictures!

Building On The Grow

The first thing I see when I walk out my apartment building's door. This used to be a row of houses and is now a gargantuan apartment complex.
Greenway

This is the Greenway. It's a pedestrian-and-bicycle trail that goes all around Minneapolis and has exits here and there up to the main streets.
Egg & I

The billboard found in the parking lot of the killer cafe The Egg & I. It's a Minneapolis breakfast hotspot.
Galactic Pizza

Galactic Pizza, a pizza place whose delivery kids wear superhero costumes and drive tiny electric 1 person cars. Kid you not. It rules.
VFW

The local VFW hall, where veterans and drunk white-hat douchebags converge and get hammered on a nightly basis. Don't park in their lot. They tow with a vengeance.
LynLake Stone

The sidewalk inlays that are all over the sidewalks in the LynLake neighborhood. And this concludes the tour.

Thanks so much!
