Light Saber (3 of 22)
After an hour in the midday sun, Sir Snowybottom looks less regal, though he has held up well in the face of the light
Light Saber (4 of 22)
After an hour and a half Sir Snowybottom's arms hang limp at his sides...I think by now he knew where this was headed
Light Saber (5 of 22)
We are now two hours in and it is time to start with the big guns. Here we see a close up of Sir Snowybottom taking a focused beam to the face thanks to my 300mm camera lens
Light Saber (6 of 22)
While the camera lens does some damage to his face, it is clear that we will be here a while before the lens deals him a fatal blow
Light Saber (7 of 22)
I gave up the camera lens in order to borrow a page from sadistic schoolboys everywhere...the magnifying glass treatment!
Light Saber (8 of 22)
After a minute or two of focused light around his face and head, my wife decides that Sir Snowybottom now looks like a kitten...what shame he must feel in this his final hour...
Light Saber (9 of 22)
By the time we had gone at him with the magnifying glass for a couple of minutes, his face is starting to show serious distress
Light Saber (11 of 22)
A big thanks to Frostbeard for being smart enough to point out that I could brace the magnifying glass in the snow instead of in my hand. We let Sir Snowybottom sit this way while we when inside to warm up a bit
Light Saber (13 of 22)
Since Sir Snowybottom proved so hard to kill up to this point, I decided to take serious action...
Light Saber (14 of 22)
Five seconds under the microwaves has certainly taken the bounce out of Sir Snowybottom's step
Light Saber (15 of 22)
About 10 seconds into his second session, Sir Snowybottom hangs his head and sags his shoulders. He knows that the end is near.
Light Saber (16 of 22)
By the time we hit the 15 second mark, Sir Snowybottom was on his last legs (so to speak). His face was pressed against the glass, and his body seemed held together by force of will alone
Light Saber (17 of 22)
After a full 30 seconds under microwave bombardment, Sir Snowybottom was finished. Laying in a pool of his own blood, the twinkle in his tiny coal eyes was slowly going out...
Light Saber (20 of 22)
Once he came to an end, I took Sir Snowybottom's remains outside for autopsy and burial

And now Mr Snowybottom, you will die.
