INSTRUCTIONS: Write a very short piece of fiction. It should be less than 200 words. Post the piece as your proof, and send it to one other player.

One steamy afternoon in the Charleston Wilderness Reserve, Tonga Nobbles, the magic sparkle toad-bean warrior decided to go on an expedition. Like most of his adventures, Tonga grabbed his double-edged Cypress dagger and oversized Scharffen Berger 60% cocoa chocolate timepiece, jumped on his mini moped and headed out to the southwest corner of the unusually angular Charleston Bog.

"Weeeerre ya headed Mr. Nobbles?" Snuffed his unofficial, occasional warrior sidekick Murdle Bumpkinstonmire, a compulsively overdressed bearded dragon.

"Stand back Murddy, I gots agendas." Shouted Tonga as he haphazardly road past Murdle while wildly brandishing his wooden dagger.

After 48 minutes of riding through the searing summer heat, Tonga reached into the pocket of his slightly worn vintage dungarees and pulled out a half melted chocolate timepiece and bit off at least 6 hours. Shoving the remaining morning hours back into the pocket, he caught a glimpse of what were once slightly iridescent webbed toad feet but now looked a bit more like the tops of wilted broccoli.

The once unwavering toad-bean warrior knew that very moment that his many days of Cypress shankings and bubbling sulfuric bog adventures had finally come to a close. Tonga slowly came to a halt, stepped off his mini moped. Hands in his leopard muff, Tonga stood heroically and gazed out over the golden glimmering cornfields and said his final adieu “Oh life, where will you bear your fruit?”

I knew someone would count. It was at 255. Besides, the directions said "It should be less than 200 words."
