The Highest Place by Abysmal

May 9th, 2009 1:49 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Go to the highest point of anything.

An epic tale of monuments, Freemasons, ancient secrets, and buried treasures! OK, maybe not, but at least I got to see some funny hats. Details are in the pictures.

Of course this makes me want to try this task using the more metaphorical highest point of Freemasonry.

...see you in a couple years...

So good.
The UT throne.
The good fortune of not getting your face melted off.
The sekrits.
Andrew Jackson's fridge.
All of it really.

Marvelous. Votes for many things, but especially alligators, and rooms full of feces... Oh, and the I can see my house from here comment.

Funny hats AND facial hair. With an Egyptian vibe...that's cool.

Thank you all for the kind words. Though I initially thought the memorial would be not very interesting (but best fulfilling the 'highest' requirement), I really enjoyed the experience. When you pay attention and look around you, there are a lot of really neat things that you wouldn't otherwise notice. Thanks to SF0 for helping push me to do something I otherwise wouldn't.

Now I'm just planning what to try next...
