Night Photography by beneath?

INSTRUCTIONS: Explore your neighborhood in deepest, darkest night.

Share photographs and other impressions of your exploration.

Coming home from the studio, i decided to explore a bit with my camera. The thing that always strikes me at night is the emptiness. Campus is so vast, yet once night falls most building lie empty and unnoticed. I love being able to hear my own foot steps and just kind of take in the space around me as I wonder around. During tonights adventure i came across 3 other people. Two were obviously returning from either the lab or library and the other was a campus security truck. While it is always interesting to see who is out late at night, my favorite journeys home have been the ones where i have seen no one.
This collection of photos essentially represents as much of a neighborhood as i can have on campus. Every place i, at the very least, pass by or visit everyday.

I was about to submit this task when i reread the title. I realized i had missed the deepest and darkest of night, and instead captured the mundane and shallow of the night. Thus, I ventured out again. This time it was again late, however, i went for a walk around the 'lake' this time on what turned out to be a very foggy night. Due to the foggy conditions, my camera recorded the little available light almost as a painting.
the first 8 are from attempt 1, the rest attempt 2.

Sean and I were just down there to attend a ping-pong tournament! A ping-pong tournament in deepest, darkest night.
