i found a photo of four young people about to go on a date (as written on the back of the photo). so, i started to think about dating and how parents always find it tough and rather taboo to talk about sex with their kids. what would parents of the 50s say to their kids about sex to warn them? well, im not sure for sure...but, i would gamble that they werent super straight up and sort of brash...
so, i created these two posters. if i were to print them, they would be about 6x4' or so. i decided to use (hand drawn) line drawings that sort of have a vintage feel, and to choose type that looks sort of old. i also left sort of a white edge around the type and drawing as if the ink was printed offset and not lined up.
i really like what the posters say...they make me laugh outloud.

The adages are really fun. I'm also envisioning an Uncle Sam poster with "Uncle Sam Wants You...to Stop Fucking."
I also liked your construction/deconstruction movies from earlier tonight, but I'm trying to be spendthrift with my votes until I hit level 5 and they replenish, so I feel much better voting here since it's more points for you!
