Universal Declaration of Human Rights. by Anna Louise

October 12th, 2009 4:48 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Post a copy of the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights in your workplace lunch room. Document how long it takes for HR (or somebody else) to take it down.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Please get a photo of the document in place.

If you happen to be present when the document is removed, please get a photo of the person for evidence during their trial.

Eleanor & The Declaration

I had a bit of a google, and found this beautiful picture of my hero - Eleanor Roosevelt, overall awesome person and chairwoman of the committee that drafted the first Universal Declaration of Human Rights- holding the Spanish version.

Here are pictures of the original version that I found on Wikipedia, and a photograph of the picture in its new habitat - the coffee corner at my work place.

I put red magnets on it, to emphasise that this is an important message.

I also didn't stick it down well, because I work with sticklers for neatness, and I thought I'd create an opportunity for them to interact with Eleanor & The Declaration.

I will therefore document how long it takes before someone has stuck it down properly and/or how long till someone takes it down.
