Leave Clues by applebiscuit

INSTRUCTIONS: Leave clues.

UPDATED...2/1/08

This one was really tricky and took me a while to make. After thinking of a bunch of different methods i think i chose the best one.
In one of my classes I have a very dumb teacher that never knows what's going on. So after I got done with my work I started to make a set of clues for a scavenger hunt for the kids that are going to be in that classroom the following period. Here are the clues listed in order. I tried to give it a learning curve to keep the player intrested and not make him/her discouraged. The words in brackets are the information about each clue. The pictures are at the end, and I also took a video of the room to make a virtual tour showing some of the spots where the clues are.

#1 It's nice outside, Look out the window.
[I gave this to a ramdom kid that walked in the class when the bell rang. This way he would have to at least consider taking the clue. At this point the person goes to window where the next clue is.]

#2 Like the view? So do I. I like to keep a picture of it under the teacher's keyboard. Maybe if you get it I will give
you something special :)
[I drew an actuall smile face at the end. At this point the scavengee (dude getting the clues) goes to the teachers keyboard and gets the clue under her keyboard]

#3 Haha I tricked you. It's gonna be a little more of a challenge to get that prize. Before I give you the prize though you must do something for me. You must get my picure of the view (not the show, actual view). The teacher hid it, and I want to see how smart you really are by trying to find it. Here is your hint. The teacher loves Paris for its Eiffel Tower, and likes to keep a smaller version of it in her room. This will lead you to your next clue.
[The teacher has this Eiffel Tower Lamp, which is where I hid the next clue. I know this thing has a bad story line, but a boy can do so much.]

#4 Nice, I can't believe you found this. Here is your next clue. The Grendel drawings are really good, the kids did a good job. I really like the one with a hot pink bod.
[In the room there are many pictures of what some of the kids that take the class think the grendel from Beowolf(sp) look like. one of them has a pink chest. and I hid the next clue behind the picture that is pinned on the wall with all the other grendel drawings.]

#5 Books are a fun way to learn a new language. Go learn some from a French book. Also, remember my favorite secret word "dolly=2"
[In the back of the room are a set of french workbooks because the teacher is a french and English Literature Teacher. i hid the next clue inside one of the green French books.]

#6 What are you doing, I was just kiding! Go learn some English first, geez. There is one Literature book that is better and more "secret" than the others.
[Remember the secret word "dolly=2"? Well on one of Literature books in the classroom, i wrote "dolly=2" on it to indicate that is the book with the next clue.]

#7 Your smart, but still retarded. Because you are foolish I will have to make this harder. I will name some objects. Each object contains a letter that you must find. Once you find all the letters, unscramble them. The unscrambled word is your next clue. These are the objects

1.Phone
2.Black Chair
3.Overhead
4.French Map
[Each object has a letter, and the unscrambled word it "CART". The Scavengee looks under the cart to find the next clue.]

#8 Good job, behind this are 3 yellow papers, each with one number. one of the numbers is the answer to this problem : 2 times x squared equals fifty plus x squared.
[I dont know how to make a "squared" sign on the computer, so I just wrote out the equation. The answer was five, and behind the paper with the number five has the sheet of paper with the correct and final clue. The other yellow sheets of papers had clues to, but they lead to nowhere. I did this so the scavengee actually had to do the equation.]

#9 Congratulations! I really never had a picture. I was just bored, and hopefully you were too until you started finding these clues. This is the final clue. Amish astronauts and applebiscuits are more a like than you think. Ask around to find out who both these characters are.
[At this point the scavengee will hopefully ask around for someone with an alias of applebiscuit or amish astronaut, and will eventually find out it is me and track me down, and I will get a report and see if this was successful. I will try to get a video for a virtual tour of the room to give you guys a better look too. This took me A VERY long time
and I hope you guys appreciate it.
