The Arcane Ensconced by Young Cain

Today I decided to lace Mission street with essence of Kerouac. In spirit of being/ living in San Francisco, talking to my friends about how we're taught that we, in society, should be this or we should be that, and what defines "America" I decided to play off of Kerouac's version of freedom (free poetry) to give the world my message: to be insightful and have fun. I did three things: the first was to print out several Kerouac poems and make sure people would find them (representing art and insight), to play a game with gum (representing fun), and decorated sand dollars and hid them, just for funsies. :] Being as it was five o clock, I didn't know how many people would see the poems or cards, but I found that almost everything was read, flipped over, or ogled at. Being as I'm suffering from a bout of writer's block, I thought this might help the process and get things moving as well as brighten up someone's day. Most of my tapings were gone or opened when I came back about two hours later.

Truly, they are. But what is danger to a dark and misunderstood poet like myself who ventures there in spirit?.... actually that's not true at all. I'm a happy person: I bounded in, taped my wares, and ran out grinning. =]
Watch out, librarians are dangerous Young Cain!
