Find Your Evil Twin by avidd opolis

July 4th, 2006 10:18 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: It is a well-known fact that you (and everyone you know) are unremarkable. So unremarkable are you in appearance (and personality, intellect, etc.) that somewhere out there you have an evil twin. Hell, you might just be someone else's evil twin. So find him/her. Your life won't be complete without it.

You all know my evil twin. He makes a little computer product called Microsoft Windows. I curse his name several times a day, and dream of a time when I am no longer a microsoft sysadmin. My highschool yearbook photo would have been perfect with the bigger glasses, but we'll have to make due with this picture someone took of me at a club.

Can you at least hit him up for some cash?

Better yet, invite him to play (15 points), kidnap him (400 points), and then take his place.

Then you can fund SF0 forever, and fix all the myriad problems in his software.

Hello, Bill Gates. _____ here. I'd like to invite you to participate in the Next Big Thing, a Massively Multiplayer real-world game called SF0.
You create a character who has all your skills, resources, contacts, and may even look like you. But your character has two things you do not: a score and motivation to complete tasks for points. Because of your position in the computer industry, i believe you would be a valuable addition to the Equivalenz team, whose goal it is to manifest the original impulse of virtual reality in the real world. The website that hosts it is Sf0 dot org. Don't worry, you don't need to live in San Francisco to play, and it is totally windows compatible. Best!
