When I was 9 years old, my father went to India for a month. He did a bunch of cool stuff. When he came back, we kids were exposed to all sorts of new foods, politics, and religious ideas.
One thing that burned into my memory was a photograph (like, on paper, it was the 80's) of my father at the Taj Mahal.
.
He told us a tour guide told them to stand like that, and from that time whenever I thought of the Taj Mahal I would imagine tourists posing for this picture.
I did research and found around a hundred photos of people in this pose. Sometimes they hold it from below, sometimes they "crush it", sometimes a few people will get in on the action. Even better, I started finding photos of people posing but taken from the wrong angle. Out of context, it takes the form of a bizarre ritual.
I've never been to India, can't afford it. But on a road trip I lucked into a very good Indian Restaurant in Flagstaff Arizona. I couldn't help myself.
In case you aren't impressed by this completion, I also turned those 100 other images into a Windows screen saver. Download it HERE

This was one of the few time's I've done a task spur of the moment. I had left my fanny pack on my other fanny.
Where is your fanny-pack?
