La Moustache Fausse by Shane McIan, KristinawithaK, Charlie Fish, Meta tron, Møuse, Secret Agent

INSTRUCTIONS: Execute an epic addition of a false mustache to a publicly-viewable image (or multiple publicly-viewable images) over which you do not have original creative control.

Vixen came to visit! We had to go tasking, of course...

img107765041.jpg
Our tools were hands, coins, shadows and cameras.

img107465044.jpg
Our victims were statues, landmarks and people.

Our method was forced perspective. By holding up coins and making shapes at various distances from the target object, we were able to adorn public objects with luxurious facial hair, and ridiculous expressions.

img107565043.jpg
This did, of course, involve holding our arms up for aaaaaaaages while Secret Agent directed us "Mink, up a little, Fish, back a bit, further, now angle your hand up, no up, not that much, Vixen, twist, no the other way, no the other way, Mouse, you've dropped a little again, Mink, down a little, Mouse, up higher - Ican'tithurtswe'vebeendoingthisforhours - come on, higher!"

(Apologies if that sounded like an orgy in a zoo's small animal enclosure.)

Please peruse our results in the photos below.

As I wandered around London with this most unlikely yet jovial crew, I felt less like tasking and more like basking in their UK0 greatness. Why put tons of effort into DOING something when I could just be NEAR them and be totally happy? I think the others felt the same and we ended up hanging out in an artsy-fartsy cafe/bar for a few hours drinking fancy mixed elixirs with me trying to contain my sf0 celebrity fever, Omg...It's MOUSE!! And MINK!! And......gahh!!

We then came to the decision that we MUST task, considering the occasion. But then there was the issue of what task? since no one had access to a computer. So we wracked our brains. What task to do? None of us had played in a while and our idea reserves seemed to be running dry. So I thought to myself, what is a common theme amongst not just tasks but sf0 as a whole?

"Hey guys, what about moustaches?"

Ok, so we now had a subject, but what do to do with it? Someone suggested we make a giant moustache made out of rubbish from one of the beaches on the Thames but alas, the tide was up! We then discovered that the lot of us was fairly broke so we couldn't purchase any supplies or goods either. We pretty much only hand cameras and our hands to work with. Our hands.... moustaches.... Forced perspective photos!!

In the end, I came to the conclusion that this group of people couldn't be any more awesome. Thank you guys for making my London experience such a great one! Till I see you again next spring!!!

A moustached Eye! And Charlie most Dali-esque´s one! And the quasi-orgy directions!

Thanks +1

I also love how we need two terms for m(o)ustache to allow for the continents. Though it might cause complications. Maybe we should adopt a new spelling:

Møstache ?

To be followed by colør, honør, and splendør?

Uh oh. The ø doesn't show up when I put it in a term. When I edit terms, it's still there, but then 'update terms' and poof it's gone.

This is very clever. I'd vote, but I want to give it five points and I only have three. I am going to wait until I have five points.

In my heart I vote for this... but as I have no points to give out, a heart vote seems to be all I can give.
