my hilltop

this is a hilltop in glen canyon. its very very special to me. ^^ its specialness comes from a long list of sources, i spent a ton of time hiding up there when i was little and in silver tree day camp. years later i took pictures of it and sent them to the guy i was at that time uberly crushing on who lived in missouri. (yes i met him in person) its been somehow relevant to 2 out of the 3 guys ive ever REALLY REALLY liked. and with the second one i sat on it and thought mopey thoughts about him. i also love how in spring time and fall time its all covered in happy growing things, then in summer its utterly dead, all the plants are grey and lying on the ground in piles, its a little surreal.
my mongolian dessert! ALL MINEZ!

this was taken when i was in mongolia about 3 years ago. no that is NOT how i normally dress.>> i really loved the dessert because it was only the only places in my life where i could stand in the middle of... well, just anywheres, cause it all looked the same, and not see /anything/ no man made structures. not even really any natural ones. i utterly fell in love with that little horse too. its name translated to "little blacky", we had a LOT in common. =>
my rock

this rock is at a camp ground i go to every chance i get. i feel very very at home sitting on rock. *nods* this rock is another of my mopey-romantic places. *laughs* but also ive always felt really at home anywhere near the sea and this rock was the absolute perfect place to sit and watch it. especially at night when the moons out, its sooo beautiful.

Yeah, Mei, this site is about telling coherent stories of the task a lot of the time, otherwise you end up voteless.
