I joined journalism this year. At first, I was just a photographer, but eager to experience every facet of the process so I became an illustrator and writer too. (Well, I just wrote one thing on the WGA strike, and unfortunately witnessed the brutal truths of newspaper-making as it got slashed and cut and twisted into an editorial lacking the very parts I found interesting, but that is a story for another time...)
Every issue there is a feature. I brought up SF0 and all the interesting creative tasks people do, interacting with the city, and the concept that it's not the points that matter but the way you play the game. So it went on the board as a feature topic and someone wrote about it. I believe they interviewed some other players and the creators.
Then fellow player and journie Mind Boggle and I put up the public easel, down the hall from the journ room. All the journalism people knew it was us who had done it, as we'd been seen cutting very big sheets of paper from the roll in the room, and random school wide art projects don't happen that often, so they wrote a story about it.

If any players know anyone who might want to advertise in a San Francisco public high school newspaper, please contact me. I don't get an A unless I sell three ads.

Wow, your online school newspaper puts my old high school literary magazine to shame...
I'd offer you an ad but I wouldn't know what to include. Tattoo counseling? Fashion advice? Chauffeur in a sports car?
Sounds like a no go.

Nice completion…
why is this task retired?
There is no way it has reached its full potential.
SFZero would love to advertise in the Lowell. We would like a $30 ad. Please let me know how to send you the ad and pay you.
Thank you so much for the feature article. It is our favorite article on SFZero, ever.
