August 19th, 2009 12:29 AMToday Jesse Roberts and I went our fishing for compliments. Our method of getting compliments was simple, carry around signs asking for them. The two that worked best were my "How do I look?" and Jesse's "Do you like my pants?" We started at around noon and got our last compliment of the day around 10:30pm. In between those times we got well over 100 compliments but most people were camera shy and wouldn't let us take their picture. We managed to get just short of a dozen who would repeat their compliments for the camera.
Something I was surprised about was that while some people averted their gaze with steel determination, not a single person jeered or was unkind. Fishing for compliments was an overall good time!
How do I look?
I just got my hair dyed Yesterday. You are among the very first few who know me to see it.

Oddly they are in reverse order of how effective they were. "Tell me you lov me" didn't get a single comment even if it did get a smile or two.
