Trespassing the Future by Bvt. Major Misanthropology, Libris Craft
July 7th, 2012 9:18 PM
We may never be able to cross the same river twice, but we have crossed this plaza more times than can be counted. And starting later this month, it will be cordoned off and completely redesigned.
Misanthropology and I stopped to commemorated the end of an era.
There was a statue here, that has already been removed before the fountain is demolished. So I decided that my little notebook had to sit in the middle of the fountain.
This involved bracing against Misanthropology and leaning way out over the (very dirty) water. Once we placed it, I moved as fast as possible to take the photo before a gust of wind came along. Then, I had to retrieve it. Amazingly, neither I, nor the notebook fell into fountain.

As we walked up the plaza, a crane pulled up. We couldn't tell what they were doing, but Misanthropology took her picture in front of of the crane: foreshadowing of what is to come.
