The Highest Place by Døjey

May 3rd, 2010 10:12 PM / Location: 40.843815,14.239005

INSTRUCTIONS: Go to the highest point of anything.

I joined sf0 in the hopes that, in attempting to complete tasks, I could develop myself more as a person. My hopes was that it would help me develop a new perspective, expand upon my boundaries, and have an awesome time doing so!

This task has been in my list for a while now, mostly due to finding what best to do for this task. Dreams of grand adventures filled my head (mostly from reading what others have accomplished).

Alas, I present to you proof of my completion. Compared to some it may be exotic,, and to others timid, but to either I say so long as we reach the highest point, what more can you go for?

oooh what's that?

oooh what's that?

side note: I have always, and will likely continue to be the type to follow the rules. Upon seeing this ladder, I was overcome with a sense of adrenaline. Do I climb the ladder, in the hopes of pushing my limits like I joined sf0 to do? Or should I just ignore it... after all, I'm pretty much at the top of Napoli. See the next picture to find out!

to the top!

to the top!

not quite the highest point that I expected from a castle.. but I'll take it

*sigh... there's always somewhere higher

*sigh... there's always somewhere higher

deep thought: Despite my sense of accomplishment in being adventurous and climbing the ladder, I was disheartened on seeing yet another higher point within sight of my location. Sad... but no matter how high you go it always seems that there's higher.

not much of a photographer... but really now, how can you not like that?

The last two pics are great.. and I love the last line: "no matter how high you go it always seems that there's higher." Well done!

Count me in "the exotic for some" camp. I am also satisfied you made it to the highest point of your found object.

That's a beautiful scene. And you also listed a bunch of super reasons to play SF0, which is cool.

i like how your adventure developed as you searched for the highest place. you didn't just find the highest and go there, you went higher until you could higher no more. *props*
