this is called cell mitosis.its when 1 cell becomes 2. i just finished learning about it in school.

Did you take this photo/image yourself? I don't want to be too harsh to someone who is new to the community, but just to be clear this task does not say "download a picture of something reproducing and post it"

Just to clarify a bit, I think the reason why taking pictures from the net is discouraged is because it often compromises what the task is asking of you. Someone else documented it by taking the picture, and you used their picture.

You probably do not have a microscope with a camera so just a photo of the act will do ; )
did you see this cell splitting with your own eyes under a microscope?
it would be cool if you underwent some sort of mitosis yourself. i hear genetics and reconstructive procedures have reached an all time amazing level of proficiency these days.
