Wrong Direction by Dr. Subtle

To get from the Beehive Cafe in the Southside to my house in Squirrel Hill, one would normally take East Carson Street east, cross the Mon on the Hot Metal Bridge, cut up 2nd ave, weave through the bottom half of Schenley Park, and come out on Beacon and Murray. It's about a mile.

Instead, we went west on East Carson Street, across some random bridge, through downtown, and up Liberty and Butler all the way to where Butler intersects the back half of Fifth Ave, which we took back down to Shady Ave and on to the bottom of Squirrel Hill, and then up Murray. It's about 13 miles. It was snowing.

We did get to see a bunch of cool stuff, though: the Gothic entrance gate of the Allegheny Cemetery, a FedEx distribution center, and a bunch of old train bridges near Highland Park.
