yesterday(thursday) my schools two jazz bands, winter color guard, and winter drumline went around to some feeder schools to recruit members for next year. although we met at my school we didnt go to any classes.i didnt get any pictures because the public school system in springfield doesnt allow cameras (or anything else basically) to be out during school hours. me and one of the other trumpet players went to talk to some people as they were going through the lunch line, and a group of 5 or 6 girls started asking questions about our horns and mutes, and then started what i guess they thought was flirting with me. they all wanted to touch my hair. i let them. i also got alot of "hey, are you kid rock?" and "i like your(insert article of clothing, usually belt buckle)"today the two jazz bands are going to pittsburg, kansas for a jazz competition. i will be getting pictures of today. again meeting at school, but attending no classes.

yesterday(friday) after leaving springfield we had a long bus ride. we stoped in joplin, missouri for lunch and a trip to the mall. i forgot my camera at the mall, but i did win two pokemon from a crane game in its arcade.we had about another hour on the bus from joplin to pittsburgh. we unloaded, watched bands, warmed up, performed, packed up, and waited for our results. my band got a 2 rating, the other band we were with got a 1-.(1 being the best, 4 being the worst). then we went to a strip mall thinger with a wall mart and a game stop. most of the places we went wouldnt let me take pictures, but i could keep my camera with me. i got dinner at wall mart then went back to the bus to eat. after some food, exotic dancing, russian roulet(with the iphone gun app), and other teenager things. we went back to the performance area for a concert put on by the PSU jazz band, and then a professional jazz band. then a 4 hour bus ride home. there was alot of me and my friend Taylor playing pokemon on the bus for the whole trip.
