Make it Soft by Flybug

November 26th, 2010 2:55 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make something soft.

When I saw this task I knew I wanted to make myself a stuffed animal. I had no idea what kind I wanted to make, so I went on a hunt for patterns. I have very limited stuffed animal making experience, so it needed to be something simple. So I Googled 'simple stuffed animal patterns' and found this pattern for a giraffe.

It looked simple enough, so I printed it out, bought my supplies and got to work. After about 6 hours work spread over two days I have a nameless giraffe.

Check out the proof pictures to see more angles and find out why it took me so long.

And if you can think of a good name for him, let me know in the comments.

Yay for the simple pleasures! Giraffes have such a wonderful long neck to cuddle along!
