Cryogenic stasis. Why? FOR SCIENCE! My life would be so much easier if there were a way to indefinitely store fruit. So I tried.
Notes
The specimen had broken down slightly, due to ice crystals breaking through the cell walls. It still would work excellently for baking and the like.
Also, the skin became slightly leathery and wrinkled, very similar to ice mummies. Interesting...

I'm using the Loki rubric here, where you did something fairly straightforward within the intent of the task, and did it right. The extra point comes from humorous presentation, as "easy does it" with a hammer is comedy gold.
I love your gloves. And your hair. Why not tell the amount of time the apple was frozen for?
