The Speed of Time by Sardonicus Tweed

April 26th, 2009 6:39 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Accelerate or decelerate an aging process.

Cryogenic stasis. Why? FOR SCIENCE! My life would be so much easier if there were a way to indefinitely store fruit. So I tried.

Notes
The specimen had broken down slightly, due to ice crystals breaking through the cell walls. It still would work excellently for baking and the like.
Also, the skin became slightly leathery and wrinkled, very similar to ice mummies. Interesting...

I love your gloves. And your hair. Why not tell the amount of time the apple was frozen for?

Compliments make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

That's a good question. It's mainly because I forgot.

What's your best guess?

If I had to hazard a guess, it'd be about three weeks to a month.

Science in progress! Do not disturb!

Good work. You stalled something there.

I'm using the Loki rubric here, where you did something fairly straightforward within the intent of the task, and did it right. The extra point comes from humorous presentation, as "easy does it" with a hammer is comedy gold.
