*le sigh*


This didn't go exactly how I wanted it, but here it is.


I saw this task and thought "What place around me deserves a potted plant?" Immediately Sticky Fingers, the vegan bakery here in DC, came to mind. Sticky Fingers helped me survive my last bit of grad school when I was too busy to cook. I rarely go there anymore since I can cook better for myself and I really don't need a cupcake most days, but I thought I'd bring this little bit of sunshine in caloric thanks. Their space is an ultra mod-diner type of an atmosphere and up until recently they didn't even have any decorations on the wall. Certainly not a green thing to be found.

I've been pretty busy lately so my chance to do this was on Sunday. It was rainy and it was packed inside. *le sigh* I had hoped to have left it on the bar like counter against the window, or barring that, a table. However every table was taken and I had to leave it on the lone chair in the corner by the bathroom.

I hope they kept it! Or appreciated this random plant being left!
