So I realized that few things are sent via snail mail these days, but traditionally, formal invitations still are. Because of that, I decided to invite my dear friend Stuart to a very special gathering. It is called the Penny Party. I postulate that he will come to my house and we will discuss the importance and brilliance of the penny and what it represents (if we have time) but mostly just focus on the party aspect of this alliterative get-together. I put a decent amount of time and relative money (between the coins and double postage, these things add up), all for a mere point, but the best I can hope for is that Stuart enjoys receiving this as much as I enjoyed preparing and sending it. Plus, he is represented by the nickel in the upper right-hand corner, which means he is the most valuable guest (literally), so I hope he can see just how special he and Abraham Lincoln are to me.
