So I had a little difficulty finding a suitable clock to destroy because we really dont have many that aren't part of other objects, like cell phones or ovens for example. In the end, I stumbled upon a quite puerile watch with a fish for a face plate. Regardless of how sad I was to destroy it, I knew it was more important to fight the future than dwell on petty possessions.




I thought hey, it's a fish, I should send it back to its homeland.





This watch didn't say waterproof so it seemed like a nice attempt.




Still telling time.... Plan B.

To keep it close to its natural habitat, I tried something a bit stronger...





No change... this fish is legit. Time for the sure thing.





Sadly, it's all over. But, mission accomplished. I figured my fish deserved a proper burial.




Well that's all! For the time that I spent destroying this, I actually felt calm and unstressed by all the things I needed to do. I was focused and because of that, I felt like the future was fended off for the time being. I'll miss my watch, but it's for the greater good.
