After reading Burn Unit's task, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, I emailed Johnson's Backyard Garden.
Having never bought locally grown food, or been a member of any type of a co-op before, in my original message (which I didn't think to save, and since it was through the website and not my email, I don't have a copy of it) I asked them to explain, in detail, how those things work.
Normally, I would have puzzled it out on my own, and then just contacted them to secure a membership.
I recieved the loveliest response, and subsequently have joined.

Probably not, but I would most definitely have pretended to know about it normally.
But you joined a CSA, that deserves a vote somewhere! Ask a dumb question, get a good answer, do a good deed vote!
