Invent a New Word by Hemingway Kat

April 6th, 2007 1:17 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Invent a new word, come up with a realistic sounding meaning.

Use the word in common everyday sentences; define for those who inquire.

Task is complete when someone else starts using your word.

I coined the phrase "robotf**ker," defined as a person who works with, or has a complete understanding of technology, computers in particular.

Here is a link to me defining the term:

Vocabulary Fetish

Here is a link to someone not only using my term, but the negative of it:

in the comments

This term has also experienced growth in spoken form, but I have no clear documentation of it.

Robotf**ker is most often a term of endearment. Such as, my boyfriend is in IT, what a robotf**ker.

I know it sounds mean, but, really... it's when I'm saying nice things you should worry :)
