I sent out my battle cry ('kay. Battle squeak) via a Myspace bulletin... it didn't take long. No one can resist a War of Escalating Dares...

I don't suppose I could interest anyone in a War of Escalating Dares?

Is this for your game? If so, you go first.

but that doesn't make sense...
... if it's my game, you should go first.

wait.
i'm totally brilliant.
i dare you to go first.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... that one made me laugh out loud. I dare you to try something new. Read Terry Pratchett's book "The Truth".

I didn't think about it but, I can read a 400+ page book in a couple of days. If you like you can substitute the book with either the Pilot episode of "Firefly" or the theatrical release "Serenity", both by Joss Whedon.

i will substitute the book, cause i'm right in the middle of camus' plague... (but i will put it on the list.)
pilot episode... joe has it.

i dare you to write a substantial blog on the subject of your choice.

I'll send you another dare when my blog is done. I'll have to think on it a bit.

From: R

OK there's the blog. Have you watched "Firefly", yet?

i was going to! i promise!

... i'll be ready for a new dare tomorrow.

----------------- Original Message -----------------
From: R

Are you ready for a new dare? I DARE you to have a 30+ minute phone conversation. I heard you don't like phones.

okay... i think i can handle that...

i dare you to go climb a tree.
(seriously. but don't break anything.)

----------------- Original Message -----------------
From: R

It's been pissing down rain here for the last couple of days, but my tree has been climbed.

----------------- Original Message -----------------
From: R

Oh, and I dare you to go a whole day without using the Internet in any way

I dare you to change your profile picture to a picture of a kitty cat for a day.

... and it's still going.

Definitely read The Truth or at least some Discworld. It's great.

er, completion?

I thought that in a 'dare-war' that the dares had to be completed in order to escalate to the next reciprocal dare. Completion? I want more.
