I give them to you
I made seventy-five iced soft pumpkin spice cookies (a double batch). I don't like pumpkin, so I don't need them and my fat ass certainly does not need them. It resembles a pumpkin already.
So, I gave some to Kristen Rutherford and the rest are being consumed by my two roommates and friends who manage to get their hands on them. To toot my own horn (TOOT TOOT), everyone loooooooooves these cookies (I am told they are like little iced cakes).
I mailed them on the 15th (two days ago) and Kristen received them today.
Here are some comments she sent to me in IM:
Kristen: OMG YOU ARE SO TOTALLY AWESOME
Kristen: the icing sparkles you know
Kristen: i love them
Kristen: and they came at the P E R F E C T time
Kristen: i don't have to share them!!
Kristen: although i did share bits with the dogs
Kristen: they liked them too
Kristen: dr. doom just wagged now when he saw i was going to give him a little bit again
Kristen: i pointed out the sparkles in the icing and said "that's where the love is"
Kristen: and they said
Kristen: GIVE US THE FUCKING BIT OF COOKIE ALREADY
Fresh out of the oven.
Can you smell them?
About half of them on a plate before icing.
I made them in the middle of the night, hence the flash photography.
Newly iced.
By the way, these are kind of a pain to make.
Placed in container. Twelve fit in there.
Container closed. On a draft of a map I was working on.
This is a container that Kristen gave to me a couple of Christmases ago. It has a SWEAR on it!

I also threw some Japanese candy into the box, you know, because I could.
