Time (and medical attention) Heals All Wounds by Henry, Blue Tulip

May 7th, 2008 12:12 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Document a wound* as it heals, spending at least 4 days watching its progress. It can be on you or someone/something else. It must be a physical wound in the form of a bruise, a cut, a scratch, a burn, or something else that takes days to heal. No tiny hangnails unless they are impressively slow to heal and interesting to watch as they heal.

For bonus points, have acquired the wound doing something for SF0.

For extra-super bonus points, use leeches to promote circulation or maggots to eat away any dead flesh.

*Please do not cause this wound intentionally.

Babies love to explore. But we get bumps. Some weeks we get more than others. Or more vicious looking ones anyway. And our parents wince and they cringe and they cry out but they only occasionally interfere, hoping to prevent serious injury. We indulge them, but only to a point. There's so much to do!

Before I started dériving...
but then...
...then I became more mobile
...from tabletops...

but slowly things changed...
the spotting went away
soon the pain subsided...

and the marks receded ...
and I'm ready to explore again...

Welcome to solo-tasking, Blue Tulip and Henry. (Yeah, I know there's two of them, so it ain't really solo. But you know what I mean. Or at least they do. Or at least they might.)

Thanks.
I think this is about all as "solo" as you can expect from us right now. Since one can't read and the other can't...well there are a lot of things he can't do. So I think I'm mostly going to be a team player for a while.
