Hey, I'm Ben.

I can assure you that this task will be flagged by players (i.e. removed and your points deducted) unless you change its content.

The idea of SFØ is the prospect of awesome. This lacks awesome. Take a look at the previous completions of this task for inspiration!

Welcome to the game :)

Hmmm

Maybe it still lacks awesome, but perhaps you are not familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality typology? I thought it would be a novel way of introducing myself. :\

Also, thank you. :]

See, that makes it slightly more awesome.

But some argue that a 3-word answer just doesn't make the cut.

And by the way, I'm ISTJ. Stick around, I'm sure you'll like it here.

"Hey, I'm Ben." - that makes me look pretty dumb right about now.

I'll try to be more voluble from now on. Thanks for the advice. Also, I suppose some context is necessary for people to understand what I mean by INTJ, which is why I would never introduce myself like that in real life.

INTJs unite!

I think this would definitely be a novel way to introduce yourself--you should test it by introducing yourself to people his way in real life (with backup explanation ready) and write about what happens. :) One (possible) purpose of SF0 is to get you to do things (particularly breaking conventions) you wouldn't otherwise have done.

Otherwise, I may steal your idea and do so myself.

In what cobweb have you been hiding in, Spidere?

We've missed you!

I second that, Video of using this method of introduction would be fantastical.

And Spidere's not the only Glasnostian that've been missing for a while, they seem to be dormant...

Hey!

Dormancy

I really have no explanation. :) We'll be back someday. In the meantime, I'm glad to see a bunch of new faces on the praxis.

What's NITJ? I've never heard of it.

It's a Meyers-Briggs personality type.

Hey Someone,
Meyers-Briggs is a test that types your personality based on Jungian psychology.

You can take one form of the test here, and see what you are.

INTJ (or NITJ) stands for introveted, intuitive, thinking, and judgemental (as opposed to extroverted, sensing, feeling, perceptive, or esfp).

Ah, thank you.

INTP, as always

I think it's a fine alternative to "Hey, baby, what's your sign?"

According to JTony's link, I'm INFP.

And would apparently make a good teacher...

I wonder if there are any E's playing this game.
So far (on this discussion) there aren't and I suspect there may not be any.

Aye, one here, ENTP (though the N is borderline).

Another INTP, also as always and very strongly.

I think it's a fine alternative to "Hey, baby, what's your sign;" however, the necessary long discussion about whether the axes in question are actually orthogonal and adequately spanned by any particular form of the test makes its utility as a pick-up line questionable.

Me too

INTPs are the 3.3% of the USA population. Overrepresented here?
-edit- Nah, I was INFJ this morning. And INTJ now. Not that it matters, either.

I used to be an E when I was in Junior High and High School, but fell down somewhere and ended up very strongly an I (so much so I had to think hard about sharing this info). The rest has solidly remained the same.... NFP.
