The blue is the route I should have taken (900ft) and the red is the route I did take (1.7mi, 9,500ft).
I nearly always check SF0 before I leave for college and this morning I was actually awake earlier than usual so I decided to see if there was a task I might want to complete at college, there wasn't anything that jumped out at me but I did see Wrong Direction. This was at 7:45 so I decided to try and get to Lidl and back in 30 mins before I had to leave for the bus at 8:15. I ran downstairs, grabbed £5 from the table and then headed outside to get Gorbachev (my bike).
This isn't my kitchen!
I made my way out onto the street and went right down Lichfield Road, right again onto Anson Road and then cycled up to B&Q car park, instead of going straight through and over I went across the car park and over the crossing further up. I then made my way down JC Jones Way and noticed I was bang-smack next to Tesco. Hoorah. I went to Tesco instead of Lidl and bought my lunch and some bread. It was then that I realised I had about 5 minutes to get back to my house but I still wanted to do this properly so I continued down High Mill Road and then Mill Lane instead of just cutting across the car park. Passed Lidl, late, then across Homebase. Finally decided to get back and then grab my college folders and run back to my bike and cycle to college instead of getting the bus. I am currently writing this up during my break in the Network Room.
2 miles to Gorleston, LIES! It's actually 3 and a half when I cycle.
And my conclusion? I arrived 10 minutes late for Philosophy, Ive forgotten my Politics essay and I left my change from the shopping in the self-service till. So don't ever try and get to Lidl, the wrong way, in 15 minutes. You can't.
