(Not) Energy Drink by Adam

This task is very well suited for me, in my house fizzy drinks are banned, my mother does not believe they meet her "healthy" food reigeme that she seems sure is going to slim us all down but doesnt seem to be having the desired effect. As such we have Organic orange lemonade stuff which isn't fizzy and orange juice to play with in this equation. We do, however, have Love Hearts, a British sweet which is chocka full of sugar which my mum has a certain penchant for.
For this task I wanted to try and create a fizzy drink for me from what I had available. I started off by setting my camera to take a photograph every 30 seconds. Next I managed to get the organic orange stuff and orange juice from the fridge, a packet of love hearts from the cupboard and a bottle of carbonated water from the bottle rack. I poured half a glass of orange drink, half a glass or orange juice which is my favourite way of drinking it and tried to add carbonated water to it to see if it would make it fizzy. Failure. It was disgusting.
Next I tried adding two love hearts to the concotion and pouring the mixture into a bottle. I shook up the bottle to get them to dissolve and tried some, it was fairly fizzy but not Fanta fizzy. So I added three more and now when I shook it up the bottle exploded in the sink, getting some over my camera. I tried some and I was so happy. Fizzy drink; in the house! What a taboo. It was so nice but it had so much sugar in it. I drank the whole bottle and felt quite woozy, as I write this proof I still feel quite headachey. Im just not used to this kind of sugar. Ow and now my teeth hurt.

Not quite as theatrical, made it fizzy though! Mentos and coke is far too obvious.

Holy Jazus!
I would vote for that, it's rather splendid.
Maybe this is like Mentos in Coke?
