One Letter Off by Jennifer Juniper

November 3rd, 2008 8:18 PM / Location: 44.999767,-93.23152

INSTRUCTIONS: Find a sign, poster, advertisement or other publicly-displayed message that would be improved by (physically) changing a single letter. Make the necessary change.

This newly improved [edited from "revised"] sign is at 2111 Broadway NE in Minneapolis, in front of the Twin Cities [Dog] Obedience Club. It made me giggle when I thought of it. The execution is far from perfect, but I learned a lot about what I need to know. Plus I dragged a step-ladder out from my apartment at night to do this, because I'm short. Plus a cop car drove by while I was getting up my nerve, so I pretended to talk on my cell phone.

Edited: I passed by the No Barking sign in the evening of Thursday, November 20 -- my B is still there! B-draggled but there!

Is great how you went beyond the sign and planned for the context and that you had the sense to carry a stepladder. And one can´t help smiling at it.
silverpeso-vote69853.jpgAdrenaline rushes are fun.

What I like most about this completion is that it actually improves the sign in the context of where the sign is located (by an obedience school). It's a well thought out improvement to the sign, not a random change.
