The Arcane Ensconced by Jennifer Juniper

October 2nd, 2008 10:07 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Install a secret message.

What I learned: Based on how I decided to complete this task, I must believe that secrets can actually be kind of scary. I interpreted "secret message" to mean a secret I know, as opposed to an encoded message. Then I chose a really effing scary place to install my secret message, although my secret message itself is a happy one.

Keeping the Secret Secret

P.S. After further thought, I have also erased the unaltered photo of the secret message from my hard disk and emptied the trash.

I love that you took the 'secret' part without taking the 'code' part ... and I really love how innocuous the secret is. I keep imagining someone coming up there years from now, breathlessly tearing it open, and wondering if "birthday adventure" is CIA code for something.

I'm also (of course) happy to help you reach fleur-de-lis, no matter how tiny.

I'm with Emma, I like your take on the "secret message" part of this task. What gets you the vote though is pointing out that it was NOT your husband whining at the bottom of the stairs.
