Order by: date ↑ - rating ↑susy: this new player finds the voting economy interesting. I don't feel forced to task. I do feel compelled to task well, to accumulate as many voting points as possible. That is kind of a drag for someone who is a born member of the half-assed tasking society, or whatever it's called. But maybe that's a good thing? Sort of? This voting economy also forces me to be more contemplative about bestowing votes, rather than just votevotevotevotevoteing for almost every completion because ohmygodi'mnewandthisgameisjustsoeffingcooliwanttovoteforanyonewhodoesanything!
Finally, given the current voting economy I have observed that people who submitted completions for tasks from the last era have an advantage over those of us who did not play last era. The oldtimers control the leaderboard by bestowing votepoints that others lack. That fact rubs, a bit, I don't mind saying.
With all of that said, I can see the philosophy. "Gotta pay to play," basically. I will roll with it.
Museum Celebrating Statistical Anomalies?
Piffle. Physical travel is not necessary, necessarily, in this day and age. Video instruction, telephone consultation, hand-drawn blueprints?
comment vote for parental tasking! big fan, here, of all kinds of multi-generational tasking. oh and plus, "I don't know what made me giggle." I love that!
DIY-Voting for (1) now I've been to NY's MOMA; (2) walking down 5th Ave; (3) translation exercises; (4) pictures of meals; (5) paying close attention and finding SFØ on your menu.
I like this. I like the clues you gave to the solution - and I like how it's a secret message that we all can know the secret of, but that is an encoded secret to others (unlike Mr Everyday's completion, which will have to remain a mystery to me).
I also like how - at least based on the way you wrote it up - took the task a couple steps further than you maybe intended to in your original conception.
Will you give us updates?
I can: authoritatively imitate a person in position of authority; teach tricks to dogs; allow myself imperfection in tasks; plan and execute a major event; write a poem; dress as a convincing zombie; write persuasively on any topic; get lost; read maps; perform basic photo editing; do the Hustle; build [some] stuff out of cement, design a pretty good t-shirt; make a sleeping bag; [edited to add] design and build a web site; effectively publicize an event; bring a lawsuit; write a legally binding agreement; research and understand one's legal rights and civil liberties ...
I cannot do most things associated with music, the visual arts, and there are some intermediate/advanced photography techniques I would love to learn. Plus stenciling!
The creative commons release answers my question. If it's been released to public use, it's gotta be a public art opportunity. Plus and also, I agree with rongo rongo about your multiple relocations. :-)
ZOMG - it's like The Dating Game!
