INSTRUCTIONS: Find a building which is in active use. Explore it thoroughly and get to know its secrets.

Politely talking your way into the heart of the building is an excellent way to understand its psychogeography, and see how it affects those who occupy it. Your interactions with the building's owners and inhabitants (employees, residents, etc) are to be strictly positive; recruiting the authorities as guides is a far, far better thing than being ejected by them.

Completing this task in proper exploring attire, which may include such accoutrements as a waistcoat or a monocle, will likely result in additional votes.

In my search for places to explore on my campus, i remembered the basement of our library. I figured that while completing this task, i could also get some looks at the blueprints of the school and find some entrances to the supposed tunnels underneath the campus. is is a magical place with everything from files of former students, to the archives, to old computers no longer in use, to a couple of harpsichords.
I took many pictures, hope you enjoy despite the poor quality and illegibility of some of the documents as my camera has a terrible focusing system.

man, the other people at your school must be really lame if they have no interest in free harpsichords, tuxedos, and access to a green screen... just sayin!

yeah, people at my school are pretty damn boring. Im hoping that before i leave at the end of this year i can get someone else to take my place as designated explorer of the school.

there probably is indeed another explorer already active (as probability has it) but it's rather in the nature of explorers to be independent, so i wouldn't be surprised if you were merely unaware of each other's presence!

The archivist's office photo is sweet... atmospheric. Nice job. I'd have liked to hear more about interactions with inhabitants, but you can't have everything...

guess what? i get to work in there over the course of the year (yay blueprints access!) and i get to interview people on the history of the school and play it on the radio station i manage (hows that for combining many interests? recording/mixing, odd history, and radio) as for interactions with inhabitants, cant say there weren't many inhabitants to converse with at the time.
