I added my favorite word to say: saucisson (sausage, in french). It's not groundbreaking or deep, I admit, but say it ten times and it'll put a smile on your face.
On a hike in Bolinas, we spotted a salamander. It promptly scurried away into the brush at the side of the trail. It looked slightly slimy and was a beautifully translucent deep orange.
