Personalized Spam by kristin gish

April 17th, 2008 4:22 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Create a dummy email account that has an address name that cannot be recognized as you. Use this account to create and send an original and believable Spam message to another player or someone else that you know. Make the message of personal interest to the recipient without revealing your identity. Your goal is to get a reply from the recipient without them realizing that you are the sender of the message. Continue sending messages until you achieve your goal.

Now this seemed like a perfect opportunity for me to take advantage of 'The Modern World'.  Spam is funny, usually another form of something you can't control, but this time I could and I did.

A large advantage of the completion of this task was based on knowing my target audience.

Satisfactiun!

Kristin

are you really located near Milwaukee & Division? if so you are the near-neighbor to many CG0ans.

on the other hand, the original email does not really read like spam.

ah no the person who recieved my spam lives by there. i am suburban, but not four wheel drive.
