THE REDO
okay villian...task completed in the real world. Feedback is welcome by all in terms of aesthetics, SF0ism, technique and hidden meanings. Please note that only a few pieces of fruit were hurt in the making of this work.

the waxy lemon had to be "prepped" with the crayon before the water color would stick. (oooooh, i just gave away a trade secret)

my cat, Chairman Mao, looking at me with great concern over my mental status. And this was a great deal more concern than my roommate expressed...i spent half a day painting things green and she didn't even ask why. now that's hipster nonchalance taken a little far, doncha think?

The painted fruit brings me to tears, it is so beautiful. So much more classy than the photoshopped fruits. I especially like the effect the watersoluble pastel had on the peach.
This completion has me green with envy.
I really liked the soft focus food-porn blueberries.
