This was tough. I didn't want to use to use any of the locales that the other person(s) who did this task used.
Well, here are the locations:
#1 Fort Mason
-- There are gardens here behind a couple buildings. The dot on the map is actually fairly accurate. Very neat. Lots of flowers, vegetables, etc. One of the photos I uploaded shows the skunk I met there.
#2 Mt. Davidson
-- There are blackberry bushes here. Not yet ready to be eaten.
#3 Water Bison in Golden Gate Park (near 41st ave. entrance)
-- Hunting almost drove them to extinction, so they must taste half decent if we kept killing them and eating them.
#4 Botanical Gardens
-- There are massive amounts of herbs and spices and such here. Chamomile, garlic chives, and much much more.
#5 CCSF
-- CCSF has a bunch of little garden beds that they use to grow many plants (edible one too). More in the greenhouses. These pictures didn't come out well.
#6 (sortof) Fast Food Dumptsters
I think most or all fast food restaurants have to throw out their extra food at the end of the night. So if you need a late night snack......

Buffalo! They look quite content and lazy to me, so hunting them can't be too hard.

i very much like how you used a muni map. very accessible.
A few more completions of this task, and no one will ever have to pay for food again...
Those buffalo do look tasty.
