At first, I thought about whether or not I wanted to just grab one of the many pictures I have sitting around and say "There, that settles it. I've completed this task."
Then I paused for a moment and realized that uploading a picture wasn't really the point. Then I felt lazy about getting my camera or my phone to take a new picture of myself. Then I worried about whether or not my hair looked okay. Then I started looking around the room for something that might make me into some sort of exciting character. I found myself compelled to look for shortcuts, but then I realized that my character would want me to actually play the game, not do a mad-dash completion run.
I eventually decided that a camera phone would be best, since I don't really like cameras and a phone seems lower commitment. Then I took a dozen pictures or so, trying to walk that fine line between subtle misrepresentation for the sake of being someone else and pre-pubescent internet photo pandering.
I took only one photo I liked, and I liked it because my eyes are closed. Normally, my eyes are my favorite feature, and I am vain about their looks. Now I'm someone different, because you can't see them.
