Potted Plant Distribution by chaos shard

For the first part of this task “acquire a small potted plant”, I went to Hobby Lobby. (This is a wonderful craft store. If there is one in your area, I recommend using it. If not, I suggest starting a petition to get one. They’re great.) I bought a very small potted plant from the store’s dollhouse miniatures section. When I got it out of its package, though, I decided that it was too small and too fake to go with the spirit of this task.
So, I went to Wal-Mart. I bought several small, ceramic flowerpots and a half dozen flowers of unknown origin and type. If anyone knows what these are, I’d love it if you told me. I picked them only because they were pretty and brightly colored, and therefore should stand out well in their new homes.
I planted the mystery flowers in their pots, which I labeled “sf0.org”. That way, anyone who finds the plants and becomes curious about them can go to the site and still be puzzled, but they might join up anyway. We need more members here in Tennessee.
Then I had to pick the location at which I would abandon these plants to the whims of fate.
For reasons that don’t even make sense to myself, I chose the following locations: my roommate’s closet, an art object in front of the campus library, a sink hole on campus, a gas station, a tabletop gaming store called Gamers’ Guild, an alley between a church and… I have no idea what that building is. Then I convinced my minions… I mean my friends and fiancé… to help me reach these locations. I can’t drive, so this is always a necessary step.
Placing the plants had an oddly funereal feel to it, at least at the outside locations. I’m not sure why, it just felt very solemn. I suppose it’s the imagery of placing a flower at or near some kind of monument. Though I’m not certain a gas pump counts as any kind of monument.

I liked how small the plants were but how much they stood out though. Especially liked the statue thing.
